Deposits

$50 deposits required  to book any service at the braid bar and are nonrefundable should you cancel at any time for ANY reason. They are  inclusive in your total. 

*When booking online and appointment is accepted and verified but client still needs to adjust or change initial requested date, this is allowed with no extra fee the first time.  The second time an additional desposit of $40 will be needed. Changes in date and time are allowed up to three times by client. The first time there is no charge,second time a deposit will be needed and third time client will have to contact the stylist for confirmation. 

*If prospective client books but needs to pay deposit at later date, deposit will no longer be the original $50 amount, but will go up to HALF the price of style requested. This half will need to be paid at the date requested by prospective client to pay deposit. If deposit date is not honored prospective client loses its place the day they default.

*DISCLAIMER* Deposits of $100 are required in advance when booking classes and are non- refundable should you cancel at any time. The remaining 200 is required upon your arrival before class starts. To book a traveling stylist:

1. Go to www.TheBraidBarLLC.com
2. Choose the styles you desire
3. Choose stylist for said style 
4. Pick date and time you'd like your service 
5. Once appointment is confirmed your stylist will contact you to get your address and quote your travel fee.Travel fees are assessed to distance and time 

(EX.our location is NE Washington, DC so if you're located in Waldorf it’s a $60 travel fee)

**stylists DO NOT carry cash and have tools for safely in their vehicles**

Stylists will only travel to location/address agreed prior to appointment. If any address changes are needed please notify your stylist  at least 24 hours prior to appointment date.

- Up to 15 minutes past appointment time

* With call $ 25 Fine 

*No call $40 Fine 

Tardiness is only accepted up to 30 minutes after your appointment with a heads up call. Anything pass 30 minute will require the client to reschedule with the stylist. Deposits are non refundable but movable to newly changed time only once. 

THIS JUST IN: **There is an extra 50$ fee for short hair appts added to total amount of style cost.**

 We here @TheBraidBar_202 take pride in what the ppl call "GripGame" as ours is very proper and bar none. Pun intended. 

However, While it is fun to challenge ourselves to grip/braid short hair. It is Not fun to be surprised @ day of appt with a client with ultra short hair who shows up with said short hair but never mentioned it during consultation. 

We welcome walkins and we completely understand a random need for braids on short hair in that scenario. But we will no longer accept or service those who book in advance and omit this importnat info from thier stylist. 

Should the stylist decide to provide service afterall, an extra 150$ charge will be added to your bill for the stylists security and convenience fee.

Short hair for braids is concidered 2-3 ihches or less. Please let your stylist know @ time of booking if you fall in this category. they will adjust whats needed accordingly and plan your appt for what size you can get realisitically.
